A young lady has died after she tried aborting a pregnancy and it resulted in complications.
The Ijaw girl who lives in Sapele, Delta state, already had two kids for a man she was dating and was expecting the third. According to Sapele Oghenek, the man abandoned the girl after she had his first child and her father stepped in to fill the gap. But the man returned later and got her pregnant again. She delivered the baby safely.
However, she got pregnant a third time for the same man only for him to travel to Bayelsa last week for his wedding with someone else.
When the pregnant woman found out that her baby daddy was married to someone else, she took a combination of traditional and foreign drugs to terminate the pregnancy. Sadly she bled to death as a result of the abortion.
