A woman has been accused of poisoning her step son to death because she was tired of feeding him. The incident happened in the small town of Kitwe, Zambia.

The woman identified as Bana Joe, is alleged to have killed the young boy because she has not been able to conceive and always complained of feeding another woman’s child. The boy named Joe was killed at the time when his father was out to search for greener pastures for the family.

Eye witnesses revealed to Koswe that the boy was allegedly poisoned as his stomach looked swollen and white substances were coming out of his nose at the time they discovered his corpse.

Neighbours told Koswe that the step mother was ever complaining of feeding another woman’s child while she was failing to conceive.
