It was earlier reported that the White ‘lover boy’ took laws into his hands in a bid to defend his Nigerian wife who had a misunderstanding with their neighbour.
The victim identified as Diva who was earlier reported to be the neighbor is actually a visitor of the foreigner’s neighbor and wasn’t the person who had a misunderstanding with Soare’s Nigerian wife at their home located at No 5, Falilat shomade street, Lekki , on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
According to other neighbors, Soare’s wife was fond of pouring water on them anytime there was a dispute and the visiting lady who witnessed the foreigner’s wife’s action on Wednesday only tried to intervene before she was brutalized.
However, the man was said to have brought in four soldiers and ordered them to flog the neighbor, but since they couldn’t find her, they descended on her visitor, Diva. Watch video of Diva in pains inside hospital below.
The victim was later whisked away and warned against reporting the incident. The neighbors that witnessed the inhumane treatment located Diva and rushed her to the hospital and got the police involved.
Soare appeared in court on Thursday and was remanded in #Ikoyi Prison pending when Diva would fully recover. The government and some NGOs are said to have taken over the case to ensure justice.
