Social media was recently sent on a frenzy after a video surfaced online in which some fans of singer, Wizkid, were filmed on camera beating up a man identified as Shoki Shitta, for trolling their celebrity superstar.
Newsmen reported that the singer reacted to the development by sharing a post on his Instagram page, in which he mocked Shoki and expressed that nobody messes with his team.
Although, the singer later deleted the post and expressed that he does not condone violence, it appears the damage has already been done.
A member of singer Davido’s camp identified as Obama Dmw, shared a post video on his social media page in which he lambasted Wizkid for initially endorsing the heinous act by his fans.
Obama in his video expressed that the development is so sad and accused the singer of causing problem. He said that fans should be able to express their love for whoever they want without being intimidated.
Making a reference to Osun state, Obama noted that despite the fact that Davido hails from the state, there are fans who are dedicated to Wizkid’s music. He said the same can be said about Wizkid, as there are people from his state of origin that also love Davido’s music.
