No fewer than three persons have been kidnapped, and one injured, in a fresh attack on Dan-Ali village in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Community sources said the gunmen, who stormed the village in dozens, shot into the air to scare residents and operated for hours without interruption.
Another source said the abducted woman, Hajiya Fatima, was later released yesterday morning but did not say if a ransom was paid before she was set free.
Efforts to reach the spokesman of the state police command, Gambo Isah, were fruitless as calls made to his phone were not returned.
