It has been revealed that Wendy Williams’ new mystery man is 27-year-old Marc Tyrone Tomblin and she met him while she was partying with Blac Chyna.
Marc has a criminal record and Wendy knows this, according to TMZ, but she doesn’t care. The publication revealed the 54-year-old talk show host said Marc’s criminal history makes no difference to her because, “I’m not stupid!”
Wendy met Marc in L.A. while partying with Blac Chyna. Wendy says she was craving barbecue potato chips and orange soda one night and Marc knew where to get both. Since then, the pair have had several other meetings and were pictured shopping in NYC yesterday. Of course, the shopping was on Wendy. They were pictured at an ATM as Wendy made some withdrawals.
According to court records, Tomblin pled guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon in Charlotte back in 2013. Police say he was part of a group of 3 people who robbed a man at gunpoint. He was sentenced to 15-30 months.
Wendy told TMZ, Marc had already told her about his conviction, and her assistant also gave her a heads up.
Though fans are worried about Wendy’s new man, the mother-of-one said to the publication: “I am a 54-year-old grown ass woman. I know what I’m doing.”
She describes her relationship with Marc as just good fun between friends, something she deserves.
She said: “Look, my husband had a full baby with a woman he was involved with for 15 years… where I was cooped up only to be a show pony. Now, I’m living my life.”
Reacting to the photo of them at an ATM, Wendy says she thought, “Oh my God, if cameras are there it will be, ‘there she is giving him money.'”
