A gunman has opened on fire on some youths riding horses as part of activities to celebrate a colleague’s wedding in Kano.
Reports claim the youths had been rushed to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital after suffering various degrees of injuries from the incident.
Mohammed Abdullahi, father of one of the victims, described the incident as madness.
Abdullahi Haruna, spokesman of the state Police Command, told The Punch that he was yet to receive details of the incident.
He, however, promised that the perpetrator of the crime would be brought to book.
