Two die in their sleep as they drown after a heavy downpour in Benin (video)

Two people have reportedly lost their lives in Benin City today, June 24, 2019.  The victims allegedly drowned while asleep inside their homes.

According to reports, cars and valuables worth millions of Naira were also destroyed by the heavy flood caused by a continuous rainfall in Edo State.

Below is a footage showing cars immersed in  one of the victim’s flooded house.

Meanwhile, Delta Residents have made calls to the government to intervene in the recent flood disasters in the state after the death of Teenagers in the state.
