Some Operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) were startled and harrased by residents of Ikorodu over alleged illegal arrest in the neighbourhood.
The SARS officers were reportedly in the Lagos community to arrest a young man they accused of being a yahoo boy (internet fraudster).
They were however stopped and quickly drove out after qresidents of the area trooped out shouting ‘ole’ (thief).

In other news, officials of Economic and Finance Crimes Commission arrested a popular yahoo boy; Wealth Wilson and charged on a four-count charge bordering on impersonation and other internet-related offences contrary to Section 22 (3) (a) of the Cyber Crimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc) Act, 2015 and punishable under Section 22 (4) of the same Act.
