It was another despicable day of sorrow and grief for the Nigeria Police Force after officers of one of their best intelligence reports were mistakenly gunned down by soldiers of the Nigerian Army during the arrest of a notorious kidnapper in Taraba state.

We had earlier reported that Nigeria Army has released a press statement to clear doubts of tactics rather mistaken identities of the dead police officers but the Nigeria Police Force has released another press statement asking questions about the death of its officers from Nigeria Army.

Nigerians are reacting to the Twitter thread shared by the Nigeria Police Force in which they called out the Nigerian Army over the recent killing of three police officers by Army officers in Taraba state.

The police in the thread, described the Nigerian Army’s claim that the police officers killed in Taraba state were mistaken for Kidnappers, as disrespectful and unpatriotic. Using the hashtag #provideanswersNigerianarmy, the Police threw some questions at the Nigerian Army.
