Nigerian musician and Superstar Wizkid has congratulated Burna Boy aka African giant for bagging the ‘Best Africa Act’ award at the 2019 MTV EMA.
Burna Boy is indeed one of Nigeria’s biggest music export at the moment., as he has to his name two international awards. Recall, the music star bagged, BET Award also some months ago.
Burna Boy who was nominated alongside fellow Nigerian, Teni the Entertainer, South Africa’s Prince Kaybee and Nasty C, Harmonize from Tanzania and Togo’s duo TooFan, took home the prestigious award at a star-studded event held in Seville, Spain on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019.
The African Giant however, did not attend the presentation as he was holding a concert at SSE Arena in Wembley, London. With Burna Boy winning the award, Nigerian musicians have now clinched it the fourth time in a row. Wizkid won it in 2016, Davido 2017, Tiwa Savage in 2018.
