Following the recent ban of motorcycles and tricycles in some parts of Lagos by the State Government, riders have stormed the streets to protest the proscription/ban.
According to local reports, the protest turned violent clash between the parties (police and riders) as police reportedly tried to stop the protest which was to hold in Ijora.
Inside a video uploaded by a Twitter user which was obtained by WITHIN NIGERIA, sounds of gunshots can be heard while the user captioned the video that police are exchanging gunshots with Okada and Napep riders.
As at the time of filling this report, the protesters have blocked the road to show their grievances while the police officers can be seen making efforts to stop them.
