Kenyan Runner Barmasai, Wins 2020 Lagos City Marathon

Kenyan athlete, David Barmasai, has won the 2020 Lagos City Marathon after finishing first place at the competition.

Barmasai completed the 42km race in a record time of two hours, ten minutes and ten seconds.

He would be going home with the grand prize of $50,000 while the second and third place winners will get $40,000 and $30,000 respectively.

The race started at the National stadium in Surulere, Lagos on Saturday morning at exactly 6.30 am.

The race is still in progress as others who are not as fast as the Bamasai are racing their way to the finish line.
