Nigerian singer, Jaywon has contributed to the conversation about men going for a spouse who can cook.

The conversation started on Twitter after Pastor Adeboye of RCCG made a post admonishing men from marrying women who can’t cook.

In reaction, Jaywon made a post claiming no man wants to marry a woman who can’t cook. According to him, as an African, a wife must know how to cook even if they can afford to cook all the time.

He wrote on Instagram;

“How many men can come out proudly and say my wife doesn’t know how to cook or take care of the house?

”A real hustler will provide for his family and even employ maid and cook but Naaaaa we are Africans and not just African but proud YORUBA MAN (LOCAL ONE FOR THAT MATTER OO) My wife must sabi cook even if she no go cook all the time but must sabi.”

In other gist, Media personality, Toke Makinwa, believes cooking shouldn’t be restricted to one gender as she urged men to learn how to cook and not base the ‘entirety of picking a life partner’ on their belly.
