The All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the postponement of its National Executive Committee NEC meeting earlier scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
This is following Buhari’s approval for a postponement of the party’s National Executive Council, NEC, meeting. The President made his decision known at a meeting with Governors elected on the party’s platform at the Presidential Villa on Monday.
Also the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, PGF, and Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, who confirmed the development said President Buhari was pleased to endorse the suggestion to postpone the NEC meeting.
It was gathered that the governors’ disagreement forced the indefinite suspension of the NEC meeting.
