Globe Motors boss, Willie Anumudu is dead

Billionaire businessman, one of Nigeria’s biggest and foremost car dealers, Chief Willie Anumudu, is dead

Willie, who was the owner of Globe Motors, died at the age of 68.

He died this morning Tuesday April 21 after a brief illness not related to COVID-19. He was to be airlifted to Germany this morning but died about 4am.

Chief Willie Anumudu is survived by his wife Nkiru, and 4 children including popular stylist, Ozinna Anumudu.

Media personality, Dele Momodu who announced his death shared the sad news with a photo, saying;

One of Nigeria’s biggest car dealers CHIEF WILLY ANUMUDU has died at 68! The Chairman of GLOBE MOTORS, Victoria Island, suffered some health challenges few days ago and “was tested for COVID-19 which came out negative”. He was to be air-lifted to Germany this morning but died about 4am.
As at the time of his death, he was happily married to his effervescent wife, NKIRU, who sadly was in London when the tragedy occurred in Lagos early this morning. He is survived by four children, UZOMA, EYINNA, ZINNA and ZIKKY… May his sweet soul Rest in Peace…
