Within Nigeria earlier reported that a US-based American lady reportedly died while with her young Nigerian lover in a hotel room in Delta state. However, further reports from Delta State Police Command reveals the White woman died in a private hospital at Osubi, Orerokpe under Okpe Local Government Area of the state, where she was rushed to after her condition deteriorated at the hotel and unfortunately she gave up the ghost shortly after their arrival to the hospital.

Security official attached to a police station at Okpe Local Government Area also revealed that, “Immediately she died at the hospital, her Nigerian lover carried her corpse in a Venza car to the Orerokpe Police Division and he was arrested by the police. While still at the station, a doctor was brought and took samples from the corpse for test.”

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onowakpoyeya, confirmed the incident, also told newsmen that the blood sample of her lover and others, who may have had contact with her, have been taken for test.

The fear of the virus at the Police Station prevented the detention of the Nigerian lover and he was referred to the Isolation centre in Warri under Police watch.
