El-Rufai announces discharge of 11 Almajiri COVID-19 patients

The Kaduna State Government, on Tuesday announced that eleven (11) Almajiri coronavirus patients in the State have been discharged after showing full recovery from the virus.

The State’s Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, in a tweet via his Twitter account, made the confirmation while announcing that 12 coronavirus patients have been discharged in the State.

The tweet read “12 Covid-19 patients were discharged today, including 11 Almajiris.

“Kaduna State has now discharged a total of 27 persons.

“Residents are advised to keep observing the social distancing rules.”

Meanwhile, the State Government has earlier confirmed that there are 92 active cases in the State.

Similarly, Nigeria on Tuesday night recorded one hundred and forty six (146) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, confirmed this in a post on its Twitter page. This brings the total number of cases in Nigeria to 4787. Lagos State recorded the highest cases with fifty Seven (57), followed by Kano State twenty seven (27).
