Oyo records 30 new cases of COVID-19 in 3 days

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has disclosed that the State has recorded another thirty (30) new cases of coronavirus.

Makinde said the thirty cases were recorded on 28, 29 and 30th of May 2020.

Makinde noted that with the new cases, the State currently has 282 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.

Makinde, who made these disclosures via his verified Twitter handle Saturday evening, insisted that 22 out of the 30 confirmed cases are from iSON Xperiences.

He said, “The COVID-19 confirmation tests for the following cases came back POSITIVE:

“May 28 – 10 cases, all from iSON Xperiences

“May 29 – 15 cases, 10 from iSON Xperiences

“May 30 – 5 cases, 2 from iSON Xperiences

“So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 282″.

Makinde further said 21 confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second negative test results and have been discharged in the past three days.

The number of discharged patients according to him is now 96.

“Please call the Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000 | 08095863000 | 08078288999 | 08078288800, if you have any COVID-19 symptoms: cough, fever, tiredness, body ache and shortness of breath,” he said.
