Police arrest POS operators working with some police officers to rob people in Delta state

No fewer than three POS operators working with some policemen have been arrested during a sting operation carried out by SARS patrol team of Delta State Police Command.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the sting operation was carried out yesterday in Delta communities namely; Agbarra, Warri, Elume, Abraka and Sapele.

Following several complaints of police robbery in Delta state, the operation was approved by the police authority to validate the complaint.

An official simply identified as bbiright disclosed that he can confirm that the POS operators working with the Police have been arrested and all in custody.

Bbiright further disclosed that the five victims who were robbed in different location in Delta state.

We hope that the arrested police officers will be prosecuted by next week, he said.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that the men of the Nigerian Police Force, Delta State Command have recovered six rifles from an uncompleted building on church premises in Asaba.

According to a report by The Punch, one Fidelix Nwansa, the resident pastor of the church,  was also arrested.
