Despite Mercy Johnson and Funke Akindele’s millions of fans and huge following on their various social media accounts, it’s safe to say that some people do not like their personalities.

Mercy Johnson is married with four kids, and Funke Akindele has a set of twins for her husband. Bothe actresses are great script interpreters and are no doubt loved by their fans.

Below are people who have called out Funke Akindele  and Mercy Johnson for allegedly being wicked.

Singer David Adeleke also known as Davido recently made the rounds online after he tagged Mercy Johnson and her Husband “Evil people”. This is coming after the actress and her husband reportedly dragged him to court for collecting the sum of 3 million Naira from them to attend her husband’s club opening but failed to show up.

‘ Wicked pple…. Congrats tho’, he wrote.

When a concerned fan asked the reason for such a spiteful comment, he replied, ‘nothing just evil set of pole that’s all..”

Funke Akindele’s former staff called her Wicked and an abuser

Cassandra Owolabi, a former staff of actress Funke Akindele has taken to social media with a video to call out her.

Cassandra accused the actress of physical, emotional and financial abuse which she claimed to have suffered while working with her.

Sharing her story, she wondered how she managed to ensure it all during her stay with the actress.

“FINALLY FOUND THE STRENGTH TO SPEAK UP AGAIN

“A little update: About a month ago, I posted a lengthy video of my experience working with Funke Akindele. But the video was quickly brought down as a bid to shut me up. Naturally as a content creator, my instinct was to make another one right away but I couldn’t bring myself to it due to the fact that I touched on a really sensitive topic (depression) and some experiences I passed through while working for her which was like opening old wounds and I needed time to heal from that.

“I am indeed happy and relieved that I finally got to make another video in which I touched on a few things because truthfully, even if I was given a day I would still not be able to cover all the ills not just me but her staff face daily.

“The experience has indeed taught me that not all that glitters is gold, literally! Looking back I just wondered how I endured so much when we were deprived of so many things. For instance, we couldn’t watch TV (literally, the TV in our lodge was taken away weeks after we resumed) and she mustn’t walk in on you watching anything on your laptop (can’t tell you how many times she randomly sent people to come check if we were sleeping or doing anything asides writing). I mean, how do you expect your writers to be 100% productive when you don’t allow them some leisure time? It didn’t take me long to develop bloodshot eyes because there were daysssssssssss when we’d write all through the night, no sleep. We worked under DURESS AND FEAR. It is always about the script, the script is more important than you and your health.
P.S – For the few who asked why my character in the YouTube series ‘HOUSEHELPS’ was replaced, well… Because I chose to leave she asked that I be replaced (no surprises there)”.

Sonia Ogiri

Sonia Ogiri took to her Instagram page to share the video, narrating how Mercy Johnson was mean to her and hated her for no tangible reason immediately she made her way into the movie industry.

In the Instagram post titled ‘healing process’, Sonia talked about how she had just come out from a terrible marriage and had to pursue an acting career to, especially, take care of her son, do something meaningful with her life and how Mercy Johnson made her Nollywood entry a nightmare.

She wrote:

““Healing Process: Hey sis @mercyjohnsonokojie I think is time to talk about all the pain you inflicted on me all this years in order for my healing process to take place.

“I hope MOTHERHOOD have changed you and you now understand when a mother wants to make her kid or kids proud of her tomorrow and just like you were overwhelmed by the love people showed you on your birthday, I hope you show/act true love towards people too.

“I needed to revisit this so as to get it off my chest cos holding it in all these years felt like I was imprisoned and it’s about time set my free.

“Ps Tell your fans not to come for me cause you and you alone knows I’m not lying. Have a great day.”

Angela Okorie

Right after Sonia made these allegations, Angela Okorie took to the comment section and backed the claims made by Sonia, calling Mercy Johnson a witch who fought her spiritually and physically. Angela wrote:

“She did worse than that to me and I confronted her and she started fighting me spiritually and physically, oil dey my head small small witches no reach Abeg”
