Nigeria records 126 new COVID-19 cases, total hits 58,324

NCDC Confirms 86 New Cases Of COVID-19, Total Now 627

As the battle against Coronavirus continues, Nigeria has recorded 126 new cases of the deadly virus in 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, totalling 58,324.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official Twitter handle in its daily update.

The centre, NCDC revealed that FCT recorded 30 of the 126 cases, followed by Lagos with 24, Rivers with 23 and Ogun 13.

The rest are: “Katsina – 9, Plateau – 9, Ondo – 6, Kaduna – 4, Kwara – 4, Imo – 2, Bauchi – 1, Edo – 1”

The total confirmed cases so far in Nigeria now stands at 58,324 of which 49,794 have been discharged and 1,108 lives have been claimed by the infection.
