Hollywood Actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd Shot Dead In Athlanta

70-year-old actor, Hollywood Actor Thomas Jefferson has been shot dead in Atlanta on Saturday, 3rd of October,2020.

This information was disclosed by the police department when the police got an alert of an injured person call.

According to the report, the Atlanta police spokesman, Anthony Grant stated that the actor was not responding, hence was disclosed dead at the scene with several gunshots on his back.

However, investigations are ongoing by homicide detectives to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, and the investigation is currently ongoing.

Actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd was born in Griffin, south of Atlanta. He received a bachelor’s degree from Morris Brown College in Atlanta and a master’s degree from the California Institute of the Arts.
According to information from Imbs Thomas Jefferson Byrd had been a stage actor and as a film actor, he has worked with director Spike Lee on many projects.

The deceased was well known for his frequent collaborations with director Spike Lee, among others including “He Got Game,” “Get on the Bus” and “Clockers,”
After his demise, Spike Lee took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to the award-winning actor.
He said;
“Tom Is My Guy,” Lee said. “May We All Wish Condolences And Blessings To His Family. Rest In Peace Brother Byrd.”
