Senior special assistant on youth development to Governor of Kano state, Murtala Gwarmai has empowered some youth with donkeys.
According to Ganduje’s aide, the beneficiaries requested the donkeys to aid them in transporting sand, gravel, and blocks so as to boost their business.
Other items distributed include motorcycles, bicycles, building blocks, roofing sheets, among others.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the distribution took place at the premises of the state’s ministry for youths and sports development with over 40 beneficiaries.
Gwarmai said he would sustain the programme.
The event was attended by the commissioner for youths and sport, Kabiru Ado Lakwaya, senior special assistant on youths II, Ibrahim Ahmad are among the government officials that attended the event.
