Lawal Olarewaju Musharaf, a banker in Lagos has been accused of battering his wife, Lawal Mariam, for chatting with her male ex schoolmate.
Source allege that the couple were returning from a visit, on Tuesday, December 15, when Mariam ran into her male ex schoolmate at a shop. They talked and exchanged pleasantries, after which the couple left.
However, on getting home, Musharaf who didn’t bother to find out who the guy was, allegedly pounced on her and beat her to a pulp.
The source added that this is not the first time, as Musharaf is fond of beating his wife at every slight provocation.
