Budding Nollywood actress Sotonye Dublin-Green buried

Sotonye Dublin-Green, a budding Nollywood actress who died from COVID-19 complications has been buried.

Debby King, a friend of the deceased who broke the news of her death also shared a video from the burial on Instagram on Friday.

The video revealed Sotonye was buried in a silver casket.

Debby captured the post, “goodnight my dearest.”

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that Sotonye’s death was announced by Debby saying she died from coronavirus (COVID-19) in an Instagram post on Monday.

According to Debby, Sotonye had been admitted at the Yaba Isolation centre to be treated.

“Lost my bestie this morning to covid. Yaba isolation center killed her,” she wrote.

On Tuesday she shared a picture of Sotonye saying, “I never thought I would be saying goodbye so soon. Rest in peace my bestie. May God forgive all your sins and accept your soul into paradise in Jesus name….Amen.”

Saying good bye to her friend, Debby said, “Will miss you forever and a day.”

Some actors have condoled with Debby over Sotonye’s death.

They include Ruth Kadiri, Rita Edochie and Junior Pope.
