Boko Haram insurgents invade Yobe community, kill four mobile police officers

Armed men suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents reportedly invaded and killed four mobile police officers in Bursari local government council of Yobe State.

This tragic incident has been confirmed by the police public relations officer in the state, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim.

The PPRO disclosed that two civilians also died of suspected trauma as a result of a heavy gun battle between the security  personnel and the attackers.

Bayamari is 130 kilometers north of Damaturu the state capital which has not been under attack in the past four years despite the several attacks on its environs.

In other news, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram terrorist group have attacked Garin Gada, a village about 12 km from Geidam town, Yobe State.

According to sources from Yunusri LGA, the insurgents killed two people and looted shops and homes of the villagers.

The insurgents also burnt down road construction machines and equipment in the area, sources told Daily Post.
