The names of persons whose application to join the Nigerian police force is successful have been published.

The names of the successful applicants for the recruitment of 50,000 officers into the Nigeria Police Force were released on Wednesday by the Police Service Commission.

The PSC announced the release of the applicant names in a statement issued by the Head, Protocol and Public Relations of PSC, Torty Njoku Kalu.

The commission noted that the process of recruitment was fair, robust, inclusive and transparent.

According to the statement, the release followed the successful conclusion of a “comprehensive, inclusive, equitable and transparent recruitment exercise conducted in collaboration with major stakeholders including the Nigeria Police Force, Federal Character Commission, Ministry of Police Affairs, States Career and Counselling Departments and the Police Community Relations Committee”.

The commission enjoined all candidates who participated in the recently concluded written examination to login to the official recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to check their recruitment status.

The statement added that the portal will be opened by 12:00am, Thursday, 16th July, 2026.

“Successful candidates will also receive email and SMS notifications on the email addresses and phone numbers they provided during the initial application.

“The successful candidates are expected to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on dates and times to be communicated in due course for medical examination and documentation,” it added
