MTN Nigeria has announced a souvenir and telecommunications memorabilia exchange programme that will allow customers to trade their old MTN-branded items for prizes.
According to the telecommunications giant, customers can take their old SIM packs, recharge cards, booster cards, dongles, and MTN-branded phones to designated experience centres in exchange for prizes.
The exercise, which is part of a nostalgia campaign the company is running under the hashtag #YellowMoments announced via its official social media pages.
The company stated that the MTN-themed mementoes collected by customers who are magpies and have over the years locked away could be worth something.
Customers who participate will also be featured on what MTN described as a “Memory Wall.”
