In a money-centric country like ours where the value and respect accorded to you and your chances of getting a life partner are determined by and precariously tied to the size of your pocket, the admonition of Gehgeh, who is a staunch proponent of financial discipline among men and men putting themselves first in relationships, often comes across to some as misogynistic.

Social media influencer and content creator Gehgeh has revealed that four women have had babies for him out of wedlock.

The self-acclaimed financial/relationship coach made the disclosure on Friday during his appearance on the Echoo Room podcast.

When asked about his relationship status, Gehgeh revealed that he has four baby mamas and is currently expecting two more children from different women.

Speaking in Pidgin, the interviewer asked, “So as you dey like this now, you get girlfriend?”

Gehgeh replied, “I get women.” “How many?” the interviewer probed further.

Gehgeh responded, “They’re many. I get like four baby mamas now. My first child dey like 4 years now, and the youngest dey like months. I still get two women wey still get belle for me.”

During the interview, he also raised concerns about the imminent marriage of popular streamers, Jarvis and Peller.

GehGeh warned that financial success, especially at a relatively young age, is not a substitute for the wisdom and emotional intelligence needed for matrimony. According to him, having money can provide comfort, but it does not automatically provide the wisdom required to manage a home, understand a partner or handle the pressures that come with marriage.

GehGeh acknowledged that Peller has achieved financial success at a young age. However, he argued that wealth alone does not prepare someone for the responsibilities of becoming a husband. He explained that marriage requires experience, patience and emotional intelligence, qualities that cannot be purchased regardless of how much money someone has

“Me, I feel like they’re too young, especially the boy. Too young for marriage responsibility. So now I always come online, they advise, I say, bro, this one you dey do, you never reach this level. You are too young for the responsibility that you want to carry. And you don’t get that experience. Because people, they say, ‘But you get the money now,’ but money is not enough to lead a woman.

Even billionaire wey dey get money, women still dey use them. So at the end of the day, it’s wisdom and experience that lead a woman, not money now,” he said
