Apparently, the relationship between 2baba and Natasha has become strained and frosty for some time now, and the unpleasant situation has gotten progressively worse in recent weeks. Matters came to a head and frustration boiled over on Friday after Natasha stopped 2baba from performing at an event.
The incident happened at Faze’s grand opening event at 90s Lounge in Abuja, where the singer was billed to perform.
An associate of 2Baba who spoke to newsmen confirmed the confrontation between Natasha and 2Baba, alleging that some men accompanying her attempted to abduct the singer. The source disclosed that Natasha arrived at the venue with security personnel and thugs, leading to a confrontation involving 2Baba and his team.
According to the source, 2Baba and Natasha had been separated for more than two months.
An X user with the handle @WahalaMann also gave a dramatic account of what transpired at the nightclub. He claimed that Natasha had been unable to get in touch with 2Baba, corroborating the disclosure of the senior figure in the musician’s management team who claimed the couple had not been together for months.
According to the eyewitness, when Natasha learned that he would be performing at the grand opening of Faze’s 90s Lounge at Trukadero, she went to the venue and waited for his arrival. When 2Baba arrived, Natasha dashed towards his car and began making a scene, repeatedly insisting she wanted to speak with her husband and identifying herself as his wife.
The eyewitness wrote, “Allegedly, 2Face and his latest wife, Natasha, haven’t been on good terms for months, and she hasn’t even been able to see him. She reportedly heard that the owner of Trukadero was opening a club called 90’s yesterday, so she went there and waited for 2Face. When he finally arrived, she rushed to his car and started making a scene, saying she wanted to see her husband and talk to him.”
2Baba ends relationship
After the nightclub melee and the ensuing furore, 2Baba was said to have told Natasha on Friday that he was no longer interested in being with her. Checks by this reporter on Sunday showed that 2Baba has unfollowed her on Instagram, while Natasha is still following him.
