BBNaija: Stop ‘Shipping’ Me With Maria – Pere Warns Fans In Fresh Interview [VIDEO]

Pere Egbi, an ex-Shine Ya Eye housemate and finalist, has warned fans not to link him romantically with Maria, his love interest in the just concluded Big Brother Naija reality show.

Pere made this remark during an interview with BBC Pidgin while sending his heartfelt appreciation to his fans.

He noticed the messages he received from some group of fans who are clamouring for him to start a relationship with Maria outside the house, which prompted him to clear the air as regards his ‘friendship’ with Maria.

Pere noted that Maria is an independent and smart lady. According to him, there is no rivalry or friction between himself and Maria presently and they are focused on promoting their individual brands.

We recall that Pere was the fourth person to be evicted as a finalist in the grand finale of the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye show.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked the reality star on Eviction stage, what he would like to say to Maria. Pere replied and said that he loves her. He later stated that he loves her as a person, noting that he has a girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Maria was seated with her fellow ex-housemates and the followers of the show at the venue of the show.
