Hit and Run saga: Singer Timaya narrates own side of the story following his arrest [VIDEO]

Nigerian Recording Artiste, Timaya has broken silence following his arrest after he was accused of almost killing a young lady.

A couple of hours ago, a viral video emerged on early hours of Thursday morning , showing the singer being carted away by men in police uniforms.

The ‘Dem mama’ crooner was spotted explaining to the policemen while making gestures to the car parked outside the building, in another video.

Though the reason for the arrest has not been made known to the public, the videos emerged a day after the singer was accused of hitting a lady in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

On his Twitter page on Thursday, the Dem Mama crooner stated that he didn’t have bad intentions towards anybody.

“Me no get no bad mind for nobody,” Timaya tweeted.

Also, In a live video on Instagram, the singer also denied hitting anyone and running away. According to him the lady whose sister made the accusation fell down while trying to hold his side mirror.

He said: “When she stopped my vehicle. she was like I hit her, I said how, she said at the back, next thing I saw four guys running down so me (sic) trying to move away, bro na so the woman hold the side mirror of my car, so that’s how she fell. Not like I hit her”
