Popular music executive and Mavin Record owner, Don Jazzy, has warned supporters of artistes under his record label to desist from fan wars.
The brouhaha started after Singer Ruger, who is signed into Jonzing world by Don Jazzy’s brother, D’Prince, took to his Twitter page to explain that his music would effect monumental change after his experience in some clubs with ‘dry’ nigerian songs.
Ruger wrote;
“The clubs are so dry in naija these days 😭 no crazy songs to turn the clubs up until the Dj plays songs from way back. Well, RUGER is coming to the rescue 😌. If you like, come for me 😂. I’ll say it again “RUGER IS COMING TO THE RESCUE”

The above tweet was misconstrued as some fans are of the opinion that Ruger is slightly bantering Rema.
Hours later, Rema’s Fans took to twitter to drag Ruger over his tweet.
“😂😂😂are you saying they don’t play that guy’s songs in clubs?
He just released 16 new songs fgs”, A fan wrote.

Reacting, The Mavin Records Boss, in a tweet late Wednesday, expressed his displeasure with fans who disrespect other artistes in the music industry to support acts under his label.
“If your only way to support Mavin is by hating on or downplaying a colleague’s hustle and success, then please keep your support to yourself,” he tweeted.
“I know some of you derive pleasure from that sh*t, but that’s not the Mavin way. We will manage our little fan base that is genuinely happy for others.”

In response to the tweet, @DMLightttt asked the music producer, “So we should watch them spit thrash on our Rema without showing them who’s the boss?”
Don Jazzy replied saying, “Who made you boss? To what end? Your banter is not good for anybody. We make music for y’all to listen and enjoy. That’s only what makes us happy. Nothing else. Thanks.”
