Netflix and Play Network Studio’s remake of the Nollywood classic ‘Glamour Girls’ has been set to premiere in June.

According to Netflix Naija, the remake of ‘Glamour Girls’ will be released on the streaming platform on June 24, 2022.

The plot of the 1994 film ‘Glamour Girls’ revolves around a young girl’s search for a better life in Lagos, which leads her to a questionable lifestyle.

Eucharia Anunobi, Zack Orji, Liz Benson, Dolly Unachukwu, Gloria Alozie, Ernest Obi, Ngozi Ezeonu, Gloria Anozie, Pat Attah, and Sandra Achums were all discovered and shot to stardom from this classic.

Last month, Netflix teased the film’s acquisition with a commercial featuring two of the film’s stars, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Sharon Ooja.

Later, the Charles Okpaleke-led film production company released a teaser confirming that it would be a Netflix Original. The narrative, director, and screenwriters are all kept under wraps.
