Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has called out the All Progressives Congress (APC) for using his song at their presidential primary without his permission.
This is coming weeks after being slammed for singing his well loved song, ‘Great Nation’ at the ceremony of Atiku Abubakar’s declaration for 2023 presidency.
Last night during the APC’s special convention to elect the party’s presidential flagbearer for the 2023 general elections, Timi Dakolo’s song ‘Great Nation’ was played as Nollywood actors were presented on stage at the convention ground.
Dakolo who disclosed that people get away with many things in Nigeria, further revealed that this is the second time it is happening. He tweeted:
“Why Use an Artist Song without their permission in a rally or campaign. The things people get away with in this Country called Nigeria. Actually this is the second time.”
