In a recent interview with Naija FM, the popular crooner, Daniel Benson, better known as BNXN (formerly Buju) revisited the social media clash with his colleague, Ruger.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that the feud between the two fast-rising artists ensued after a Twitter user told Ruger that BNXN is better than him.
In response, Ruger outlined some reasons Buju isn’t better or bigger than him, one of which is due to the fact that his songs trend and go viral without him featuring anyone, unlike BNXN who usually features a lot of outstanding artists such as Timaya, Wizkid and so on.
BNXN who wasn’t pleased with this slammed Ruger mercilessly also.
However, speaking with Naija FM presenters, BNXN revealed it was after he saw Ruger’s tweet that he understood what Burna Boy and Wizkid had been telling him about hatred in the music industry.
He added that it was Timaya who even urged him to respond to Ruger’s tweet while tagging it as disrespectful.
