Stephen Hung, Hong Kong businessman and close associate to Davido, has shared his recent conversation with the Afrobeats Star regarding 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Davido was scheduled to perform the ‘Hayya Hayya (Better Together) Official World Cup song with American singer, Trinidad Cardona, and Japanese singer Aisha.
However due to the demise of his son, Davido was absent at the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar where the 2022 World Cup opening was held.
The World’s biggest spender, Hung, who recently linked up with the ‘OBO’ crooner in Doha, Qatar, where the draws were held in April 2022, took to his Instagram story on Thursday, to express excitement about his recent chat with the singer.
According to him, Davido assured him of his performance at Qatar world cup closing ceremony.
He wrote;
“So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony.
Can’t wait to see him there”
