Mixed reactions as Kenyan Chef,  Maliha, starts cook-a-thon trial, eyes Hilda Baci’s record (VIDEO)

Days after Nigerian chef Hilda Baci was confirmed as the Guinness World Record holder, a Kenyan chef identified as Maliha Mohammed has embarked a cook-a-thon trial.

Maliha, via instagram page on Friday, June 16, announced the start of her cooking marathon which she said will run until Sunday, June 18.

The Kenyan Chef, who cooked for 72 hours in 2018, had earlier revealed that she wants to break two Guinness World Records, one of which is the one held by Hilda Bassey Essien aka Hilda Baci..

According to the 40-year-old chef, this is her second trial, and she has already gotten a sponsor for the event. She urged people to support her as she streams it live on Instagram.

“Hellooooo Kenya and the world. Tomorrow will be cooking non stop for 55hours and making 100 recipes.

Leezzzzz gooooo. Tudor mombasa from Friday 10am to Sunday 5pm. This is a 2ND TRIAL TRAINING. comment below which live should I go with for 55hours !!”, she wrote on Thursday.

Maliha, in a video, revealed that she would be doing the cooking in Tudor, Mombasa, and it will last for 55 hours and in that time, 100 recipes will be prepared.

Giving an update on Friday, Maliha wrote; “We just started 2hrs30min ago trial training cooking.”

Reacting, Nigerians frowned at her action, tagging it as sabotage of Hilda Baci’s achievement.
