Prominent Nigerian music mogul, Ubi Franklin, has broken his silence regarding the allegations from online activist Verydarkman, who accused him of swindling an aspiring artist.

Earlier, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that VeryDarkMan, in a video, publicly accused Ubi Franklin of being a thief. VeryDarkMan expressed that Ubi allegedly defrauded a specific artist to the tune of about 10.5 million Naira, claimed he used the name of afrobeat sensation Davido under false pretenses and fake promises.

In response, Ubi Franklin posted on his Instagram, firmly stating that he’s not fazed by any scandal this new year. He pledged that 2024 is going to be a good year for him.

He wrote;

“I ain’t tripping, it’s going to be a good year“.

Not stopping there, Davido’s Hypeman, Spesh, responded to the entire saga by dropping a meme video on his page, depicting Ubi unleashing his fury on critics.
