Why the Government, Judiciary, Police can’t prosecute Dangote over Phyna’s sister’s accident – Verydarkman (VIDEO)

Popular Nigerian activist, Verydarkman (VDM), has stirred reactions online after proclaiming that Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, will face no legal consequences over the recent accident that left BBNaija star Phyna’s sister critically injured.

He disclosed this in new clip, while urging the billionaire industrialist to take full responsibility for the devastating accident involving BBNaija star Phyna’s sister and a commercial bike rider.

The controversy began when Phyna revealed in a viral post that her sister, Ruth Otabor, suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a heavy-duty truck allegedly belonging to the Dangote Group at Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State. The collision also left a commercial motorcyclist in critical condition.

Phyna accused the Dangote Group of prioritizing property recovery over the victims’ welfare. She further alleged that the Nigerian Police attempted to remove the truck’s license plate instead of ensuring her sister received urgent medical treatment.

The accident left Ruth with one leg amputated, while the other is at risk of amputation. The bike rider involved is also battling for his life. Both are currently in critical condition.

In a fresh video, VDM stressed that despite the gravity of the incident, the billionaire industrialist is unlikely to face legal consequences due to his influence in Nigeria’s socio-political system. He described the situation as “a lost cause” when it comes to seeking justice through the courts.

According to VDM, if the accident had been caused by an ordinary citizen, legal action would have been swift. However, he claims Dangote’s status places him beyond the reach of the judiciary, the government, and even the police.

“Neither the government, the judiciary, nor the executive can challenge Dangote, and even the police can’t act against him. We can’t take him to court — the only option is to plead with him to assist the victims,” VDM said during a TikTok Live session.

The activist emphasized that the fight is not just about legal action but about moral responsibility, urged the billionaire to do “the needful”, compensate the injured victims since formal justice mechanisms may never hold him accountable.

VDM, alongside veteran actress Kate Henshaw, has been at the forefront of the justice campaign, using their social media platforms to amplify calls for Dangote to intervene.

Both campaigners insist that the billionaire’s moral obligation outweighs any corporate or legal shielding.
