Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe popularly known as Ayra Starr has officially reached a remarkable milestone, surpassing 2 billion streams on Spotify.

This accomplishment follows the release of her much-anticipated second album, The Year I Turned 21, which has already amassed over 500 million streams since its debut just a few months ago.

The album, noted for its innovative blend of genres and thought-provoking lyrics, has not only received commercial success but has also garnered critical acclaim, playing a significant role in boosting her streaming figures.

Ayra Starr first made waves in the music scene with her self-titled debut EP in 2019, quickly ascending the ranks in Nigeria’s music landscape.
