Governors, ministers and top APC officials are currently at the palace of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, to finalise plans for the wedding of President Buhari’s son Yusuf.
Yusuf Buhari is currently engaged to Zahra Bayero, the 19-year-old daughter of the Emir of Bichi Alhaji Dr. Nasir Bayero.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that the news of the planned wedding of Buhari’s son, Yusuf with Zahra Bayero was reported in March with sources stating that the wedding will take place after Sallah holidays.
The bride-to-be, Zahra Bayero is said to be a student in the United Kingdom, studying architecture while Yusuf is a 2016 graduate of University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom.
The delegation is led by Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State are in Kano to fine-tune the wedding plan.
The Emir of Bichi is the younger brother of the Emir of Kano, who is currently hosting the delegation from the president.
According to Daily Trust, some members of the first family are also at the palace to finalise plans for the wedding, which will hold between August and September.
Former Zamfara Governor, Abdul ‘ aziz Yari Abubakar, is among the delegation.
