Samuel Amune, Apostle Johnson Suleman’s lawyer has reacted to report of him getting a YouTuber identified as Israel Balogun, arrested and detained over the ‘miracle money’ video he shared online.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Balogun blasted the clergyman, stating there was nothing like miracle money but a planned scheme to make people believe angels were dropping money into their accounts.

According to Balogun, the pastor and ministers of the church use such tactics to take double of such amounts from church members who received the miracle money.

In the video Balogun posted, Apostle Suleman can be seen saying, “The Holy Ghost just whispered to me, I’m going to pray and make declarations, after that you will check your account.”

Another voice said, “Papa (a term used by church members for Suleman), there is a miracle alert here, she just got her alert of $1,000.”

Suleman said again, “Miracle alert, as you get it, run here. Angels begin to put money in your account.”

Balogun’s lawyer yesterday accused the police of arresting the YouTuber over his comment on Apostle Johnson Suleman’s miracle money controversy.

Apostle Suleman’s lawyer has now made clarification on what led to Balogun’s arrest. He maintained that the YouTuber was not arrested for his views on the ‘miracle money’, but for the unprintable names he called his client.

Amune said Balogun is being asked to prove that Suleman is a criminal, magician, bandit and a fraudster as he claimed. He also stated that the YouTuber is being asked to prove that the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International sends his Pastors to gather people’s account number before any crusade and engaging in electronic money transfer, claiming it is “miracle money”.

Warning that they will go after anyone who goes to the internet to insult men of God, an act he described as “cyber stalking/bullying” and a “major crime”, Amune also said Balogun alleged that Apostle Suleman is a “yahoo man” and works in connection with Hushpuppi.
