Operatives of Kwara State Police Command on Saturday rescued a 300 level Mass Communications student of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Khadijat Isiaq.

Khadijat was kidnapped last Sunday at Okoru village, near Malete at about 9 pm.

Recall that the suspected kidnappers on Monday contacted some people in Malete, demanding a N50m ransom before they could release the victim.

It was gathered that the Kidnappers were tracked through a POS they wanted to use to collect the ransom in Shao, the next town to Malete in the Moro local government area of the state.
