A commercial driver has been arrested for conspiring with criminal gangs to abduct passengers loaded from a motor park.

Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Frank Mba, who disclosed this at a media briefing in Abuja said the suspect routinely delivered innocent citizens to kidnappers.

Mba said the driver operated on major highways in the North-East and North-West and worked for multiple kidnapping gangs.

“He will patiently wait for passengers to board his vehicle and once he has enough of these passengers, he moves from the park.
