A man identified as Mark Mutongoi has been accused of filming a woman in a bathroom at a gas station in Westlands, Nairobi.

The suspect is accused of filming Margret Wangari without her permission on October 7 at the Rubis gas station in Westlands, Nairobi.

Court prosecutor Robert Ogallo told the court;

“After she was done she heard some movement behind the washroom.”

The complainant was startled by the suspect’s movement, according to the court, and she realized that the accused had strategically positioned his phone on the washroom’s window and was filming her.

The complainant eventually informed other ladies in the vicinity, which resulted in the suspect’s arrest.

Appearing before senior principal magistrate Charles Mwaniki at Kibera Law Courts, the suspect pleaded guilty and told the court that he committed the offence to please his eyes. He also claimed that at the time he was committing the offence, he was possessed.
