Nasarawa Assembly confirms 17 development area overseers

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed 17 overseers of development areas, among who is Prof. Rabo Dakare, overseer of the Panda Development Area.

Speaker of the Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi announced their confirmations after the House Leader Umar Tanko Tunga (APC-Awe North) moved a motion to that effect which was seconded by the Minority Leader Abel Yakubu Bala (PDP-Nassarawa Eggon West) during the House proceedings yesterday in Lafia, the state capital.

Those appointed as overseers for the second term are Bello Akoza- Ekye, Amos Tsaku- Agidi, and Iliyasu Miryam-Umaisha development area while Salihu Adamu was appointed for the third term as overseer for Udege Development Area.

” The House has screened and confirmed the nominations of Sadiq Akiri- for Azara, Yunusa Amwe for Akwanga West, Bello Akoza for Ekye, Haruna Mohammed for Lafia East, Yahuza Ahmadu Na’ Allah for Lafia North, Mohammed Baba Abdullahi for Giza, Dauda Danladi Agbo for Daddere, and Luka Ayele for Jenkwe.

Others include Amos Tsaku for Agidi, Moses Anvah for Akun, Shaibu Umar Loko for Loko development area, Salihu Adamu for Udege-, Ibrahim Arafat for Karshi, Prof. Rabo Dakare for Panda, Yusuf Samson for Gadabuke, Iliyasu Miryam for Umaisha, Adamu- Omale for Agwada and Solomon Bande- Farin Ruwa development area.
