Two factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, clashed in in the Agbado area of the Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos State on Friday morning.

The clash caused pandemonium in the area as people scampered for safety.

According to PUNCH, eyewitnesses said that road users and passersby scampered for safety when the two warring NURTW factions violently engaged each other.

Gunshots were also heard during the conflict over ticket collection at the parks.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that in January, rival hoodlums clashed in Idumota, Lagos Island Local Government Area.

The hoodlums were seen with dangerous weapons, such as cutlasses, guns as they engaged themselves in bloody clash.
