BREAKING: PDP fixes N40m as cost of forms for presidential candidates, N21m for governorship

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fixed N40 million as the cost for its presidential candidates to obtain form.

While Eexpression of Interest form is put at N5 million, the Nomination Form is put at N35 million.

The party said this was approved at the 95th National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party which held on Wednesday in Abuja.

For governorship candidates, Expression of Interest is put at N1 million while Nomination Form is N20 million.

For Senate, the Expression of Interest is N500,000 while Nomination Form is put at N3 million. Also, for the House of Representatives, Expression of Interest is N500,000 while Nomination Form is N2 million.

The party said all the youthful aspirants would enjoy a 50 per cent reduction of the payment for various elective positions.
